Children's Ministry

Children are an important part of our church family.

Sunday School
Children ages 3 - 5th grade go to Sunday School during the 10:00 a.m. worship hour immediately following the Children's Message.
3 Year Olds - Kindergarten
Children meet in a contained classroom, learning the stories of the Bible through Exploring the Way, a United  Methodist Curriculum.  This class sings each week in Sunday School and sings in church as our Cherub Choir about 3 times a year.
1st Grade - 5th Grade
Children in this age group presently meet and participate in "One Room" Sunday School program learning about their faith through Bible Stories, cooking, art, games and music.

Bible Verses
Memorizing Bible verses is an important part of the children's learning.  A list of Bible verses connected to the Bible Stories learned each week are given to the children to learn each month.

Celebration Sundays
Celebration Sundays are held every 6 to 8 weeks as a way to celebrate and affirm our children's faithfulness to Christin learning.  Food, games and prizes are part of our "Celebration Sundays."  Each week children are given tickets for attendance, learning Bible verses, bringing their Bibles and participating in various learning experiences.  On "Celebration Sundays," the children have the opportunity to redeem those tickets for prizes.
