Experts estimate that people make 35,000 decisions daily, facing a constant barrage of options from commercials and social media. This overload can make simple choices, like where to eat or which brand to buy, daunting and lead to decision fatigue.
People face decision fatigue, struggling with choices due to overwhelming options. The mental drain from countless minor decisions makes major life choices even harder.
In discernment, we learn to make sound judgments and distinguish between options. Discerning people see beyond surface issues. Through the Holy Spirit's guidance promised in John 16, people of faith have spiritual resources for decision-making.
Our life groups will study scriptures on discernment and explore decision-making tools. We'll examine desires, questioning techniques, and how prayer and silence enhance discernment. Through shared practices, we'll learn to listen to our inner spirit and God's guidance, both personally and as a community.
